The strongman's latest stunt definitely surprised his fans, who let loose in his Instagram comments.
"This has to be a joke right? I can't see you doing cross fit [sic]," one person wrote. Another commenter chimed in, "Oh no Eddie please dont go there."
And for the ultimate zinger, one person replied, "he [Hall] just wants to embarrass all of them with proper form."
One common criticism of CrossFit is that proper form is often lost due to the sport's emphasis on finishing heavy lifts as quickly as possible. However, the official CrossFit website notes that people who are unfamiliar with the Olympic style lifts should learn proper form first, so that they can finish workouts safely.
Although there is no official world record for the shortest amount of time an athlete has performed Grace, CrossFit athlete Nick Bloch performed the workout in only 59 seconds, according to Barbend .
